Council Tax band challenge — letter / structured draft
Answer a few questions. Your DIY draft assembles below for free preview, print, or download (.txt / .md). Prefer the official VOA online challenge where you can. Official starting points: Challenge your Council Tax band · Check your band · VOA step-by-step guide.
Risk — band can go UP. The VOA states challenges have three outcomes: your band can go up, down, or stay the same. Similar neighbouring properties may also be reviewed. Keep paying your bill while you wait — overpayments are refunded if the band falls.

Pricing (not live yet): letter fee planned later (same ballpark as parking, ~£2.99–£4.99). Full preview and download work free here. No affiliates in this phase.
Scotland: Band proposals go to your local Assessor via the Scottish Assessors Association, not the VOA. There is no England-style informal “band review” route on SAA pages. You can still draft notes below, but submit through SAA — do not send a VOA-addressed letter to an Assessor without checking their process.
Tick the risk acknowledgement in the form (section 7) before a letter preview will generate.
